Sugarfest is a tradeshow for the South African Sugar Industry. It attracts sugarcane farmers, manufacturers and other role players, providing a platform to show and demonstrate the latest in farming equipment.

This popular event is held over two days and provides a festive environment for people to share knowledge and experience new products and technology. It also provides an excellent opportunity to reunite with old friends and make new ones!

Whilst the event is trade focused we provide a host of activities for the whole family and members of the general public are welcome to join in the fun. Come and enjoy the wide range of diverse products on show as well as an evening braai with live music, a ladies lane, and crafts. For all our future farmers there is a kiddies’ corner with jumping castle and for the rest of us, there is a Cape to Rio big top with food and drinks aplenty.

Sugarfest is a serious tradeshow with a heart of fun. We look forward to meeting you there!

The Sugarfest committee would like to thank you all for attending Sugarfest 2013. We have been over whelmed with the response we have had for this year’s show. We were blessed with beautiful weather and were able to enjoy an “accident-free show”.

We are always interested in improving the show and would therefore appreciate any comments or ideas for improvement.

We do know we need to get more plug points and need to get some sort of water available closer to the stands – these are suggestions that cropped up during the show. The DJ/announcer was great as it gave our exhibitors the chance to make announcements.

The Sugar shaker clashed with a children’s golf tournament here at Mtunzini – and parents have begged us to have it again next time! The Tug of war was popular and fun!

Thank you for your support and we look forward to seeing you all again in 2015.

Kind regards,
John Nightingale
